The sizes quoted for pointe shoes are the manufacturers own sizes & may not in many cases be the same as normal shoe sizes.

We would always recommend that pointe shoes are professionally fitted unless you are totally sure of your size, width & strength fittings.

If you are within reach of our shop & need fitting, please call us for an appointent. (shop prices are a little more expensive than on line prices to account for the time taken in fitting - allow 1 hour or so especially for first time buyers)

Capezio Glisse Pointe Shoes

A unique shoe tailored by Capezio for the European dancer. The flat crown, high vamp and extended platform are crafted to offer maximum support for balance, comfort and stability. The tapered satin around the heel and sole of the shoe eliminates unwanted bagginess resulting in a beautifully moulded fit. The top quarter of the shank is shaved so the sole follows the foot enhancing the instep on and off pointe, increasing fluidity of movement. The shoe also features an elastic drawstring and attractive U-shape vamp.
