Sizes
All quoted sizes are based on manufacturer’s standard information. If you are unsure please check with the size guides by clicking on the links on the top menu on the home page.
All shoe sizes (except Pointe Shoes) are quoted in standard
Pointe Shoes are listed in manufacturers sizes. We always recommend Pointe Shoes are professionally fitted & although we keep extensive stocks, offer them here as a service to those who are sure of their size, or for teachers & retailers who are able to carry out their own fittings.
Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit & debit card payments. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo & Delta. Credit card information is encrypted & collected securely by Globecharge & processed by NatWest Streamline. However you may, if you would rather, send your credit card information via phone, e.mail or mail, but we do not accept any liability for, or responsibility for the security of information sent in these ways.
Dispatch times - Please note that whilst we do carry extensive stocks of many items, to keep our costs & prices to a minimum we do buy some items to order. Whilst this may result in a small delay in delivery, we do order from most manufacturers 2 - 3 times per week (some even daily) so there should be no undue delay.
Where possible orders are processed & shipped within 48 hours of confirmed payment, but please allow up to 14 days for receipt to account for fluctuations in delivery service by carriers, & our own stock replenishment.
If we do not expect you to receive your goods within 14 days we will contact you with an expected date of delivery. You will be given the opportunity to leave the item on back order, cancel the order in part or in full, or accept an alternative item.
If you are up against any deadlines please check availability before ordering.
You will be notified of shipment within 24 hours of the goods being dispatched. All items are sent via Royal Mail standard mail or Special Delivery depending on value and should reach you within 3-4 days of dispatch. A signature may be required on delivery.
Please report non-delivery within 7 days of being notified of dispatch.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.
Prices & Delivery Charges
All published prices are inclusive of any tax & postage to any UK address.
Returns Policy
IMPORTANT - Before returning any item please contact our sales office who will issue you with a Returns Authority Number to be quoted with the returned goods. Failure to do so may result in your refund or credit being delayed.
Special orders, tights & under garments are final sales & no exchange or refund is possible.
All items for, exchange, credit or refund should be returned to reach us within 7 days of their receipt by the customer. Only faulty items can be considered for exchange outside this period.
Goods found to be faulty on receipt will be replaced, or the purchase price refunded, on their return to us. Please ensure that all item packaging is returned with the item.
Items that develop faults after use will be replaced or the purchase price refunded, provided the fault is not due to fair wear & tear or damage by the customer. Some manufacturers will require inspection of the item before sanctioning a credit.
Items that do not fit can be exchanged for another size, provided the item is returned to us in a saleable condition, and with its' original packaging, tags & labels in tact. A charge of £1.95 to cover cost to return postage & packing will be made for all exchanged items. Items accepted for credit or refund, that were supplied as ordered, will be subject to a 15% handling & restocking charge.
Items specially ordered or marked on the site as Special Order, that are not a normal stock line, can not be accepted for credit.
Please ensure that all return packages have the correct postage paid on them. We DO NOT accept any deliveries that need surcharges paid.
Credits & Refunds are for products only (less any restocking charges). Postage is not refundable.
We aim to process all refunds within 5 working days, but please allow up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
All returns to us are made at the senders cost & risk, so for your own security we advise you to send them recorded or special delivery.
Care of garments & items in your possession
Please take care when trying on items. Keep them away from moisture & grease. Do not remove any tags, labels or discard item packaging unless you are certain of keeping the item, we will not accept them for return if you do. Try on any footwear on a clean towel or similar, shoes that are marked in any way can not be returned.
Please remember we are happy to exchange goods if these simple rules are followed.
In short, please return goods in a condition in which you would happy to receive them.
